Under Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, the Gulch is sold to real estate developer CIM Group, with plans to infill the site funded by a $2B taxpayer-funded incentive. The incentives are the largest ever put forth by the city and the subject of property tax lawsuits. The plans still do not include a new transit terminal for MARTA
